    How Do I Connect A Mouse To My Raspberry PI?

    Looking for information on how to connect your mouse or keyboard to your Raspberry PI? Check out the easy instructions below.

    Mouse or KeyboardHow Do I Connect A Mouse To My Raspberry PI?

    New high spec Model B has 2 USB ports and the basic Model A PI has a single USB port.

    All the USB ports can be used with USB 2.0 devices.

    Just plug your Mouse or keyboard into a spare USB socket. If you don’t have a spare socket, connect a USB hub to provide more space.

    If you have problems operating your mouse or keyboard it is most likely due to the fact the PI can only supply a small about of current to the USB devices. Connect your device via a powered USB hub and that should solve your problems.

    It you are running Outlook 2013 or earlier and are having problems where you delete an email but it stays in your inbox and then if you try again  it gives and error message similar to “The operation cannot be performed because the object has been deleted”.

    You might also find sent emails are not moving to the sent folder after they have been sent.

    Then your outlook PST datafile has become corrupted, luckily this is fairly easy to solve, just follow the instructions below;

    • \Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15 Outlook 2013 – 32-bit version
      \Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15 Outlook 2013 – 64-bit version

      \Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033\ also try here these locations
      \Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033

      Note The file or folders may be hidden. For instructions about how to unhide files and folders, see your operating system documentation.

    • Once running ScanPST just follow the instructions, depending on the size of the PSTfile and the speed of your computer the scan and fix might take a few minutes to a couple of hours.

    If you still are having problems then you may need to delete your profile and datafile and start again, but first you I would recommend you copy PST datafile to a safe location.
